Superusers have additional access that users and data entry users do not have. They are expected to have oversight responsibilities for the provider agency or provider site.
Each LME/MCO is required to have superusers to provide technical assistance to providers. Vaya’s superusers can be reached at nctopps@vayahealth.com
Any provider billing for an NC-TOPPS qualifying service is required to have at least one active superuser who will manage NC-TOPPS compliance for agency, transfer NC-TOPPS episodes from one QP to another (within the same agency).
Superusers should regularly review the agency user list to insure that all users are removed when they leave the agency or no longer require NC-TOPPS access.
If your agency has multiple sites listed in NC-TOPPS, each site must have a superuser assigned to the specific location. This can be the same superuser as the other sites or each site can have their own superusers.
To insure proper compliance, it is recommended that at least one person from the agency, (such as a Quality Assurance or Program Director) be a superuser for all agency sites.
