All Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) are required to participate in NC-TOPPS
For private-pay/self-pay: The provider will register with the NC-TOPPS Help Desk at nctopps@ncsu.edu. These NC-TOPPS should not go through the MCOs
For Medicaid/non-Medicaid-funded: The provider will use the LME/MCO assigned record number and will submit NC-TOPPS using this number. Do not use the agency record number when submitting NC-TOPPS
When consumers change from private-pay to Medicaid/state-funded or vice versa, the OTP provider agency will need to contact the NC-TOPPS Help Desk (nctopps@ncsu.edu) to request the change within the NC-TOPPS System
